So I'm eagerly waiting for the soundtrack to be released but there are other Alice in Wonderland inspired songs out there to hold me over.
After Forever's entire Remagine CD is Alice in Wonderland ridden. Good old Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit. Avantasia's The Looking Glass is very nice for the diehard "any relation" fans. Alice in Videoland's only real relation is the name but for me that's enough. Gwen Stefani has a music video for What You Waiting For which is her take on Alice.

I'm sure there are more out there and please by all means put in your two cents.

Edit: Providing links for all the things I can find.

Gwen Stefani's What You Waiting For music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9JcjVwb5Zk
Lovex's Guadrian Angel music video (very weird but I like it, lead singer looks like the Mad Hatter in a very dark wonderland-esque world): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNCse7LEst8
Aerosmith's Sunshine music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzROG3SWu98

In future updates I hope to add more links.

White Rabbit is great! Did not like Gwen Steffani's take, because it kinda made Wonderland out to be a creepy, dress-up, Moulin Rouge-dirty-club kinda thing. I have not heard The Looking Glass though!

I am quite eager to get the soundtrack, even if Chris Vrenna's soundtrack for American McGee's Alice was better.

 There's a soundtrack to Alice!? I looked everywhere to find it, but even good ol' eBay failed me there! Where did you find it?

Actually, with a program called Pakscape, you can extract the music from the game itself, which, IMO, is much more recommendable.

But I've just had a thought. I've been re-listening to the preview tracks to LGW's soundtrack, and then I began wondering whether they were really...well...appropriate. Then I read this angry negative review of LGW (LGW Fans approach with caution (http://community.livejournal.com/bookshark/3093.html)):

There's even a soundtrack to accompany the books. And it's not even cool like the soundtrack to the Animorphs series. It has pop and R&B/rap music. Pop! And RAP! Pop, rap, and my Alice in Wonderland! My absolute favorite-est thing ever "conceptualized" with some breathy tart's pissant crooning and weak lyrics and "wikiwikieraeraera" scratchy CRAP.

Then I begin to think, and suddenly it hits me; were vocal songs really needed? Wouln't instrumental music, like the soundtrack to Dungeons and Dragons, work better? I mean, does anyone else think this would be perfect for LGW? (http://cdbaby.com/mp3lofi/midsyn5-05.m3u)

If the soundtrack were fully instrumental, I think it would help immerse the listener in the 'world' better, imagine calm, soothing music with waves swishing in the breeze for the Pool of Tears, frantic battle music with 'Off with their heads' yelled with grisly brio in the background, mysterious an strange music for the Looking Glass Maze, ending with fanfares of victory for Alyss.

I thought it was a great soundtrack! I met Frank Beddor at my school because he was speaking and we got to read parts of the "movie script" and i got a free soundtrack for acting the part of Alyss out... it was so fun! But yes... i loved the soundtrack its definatleyy worth buying.:)

Sorry, but I think this might be better in the soundtrack board, didn't have that when I originally posted this.
