Okay, I'm looking through Issue Three and I get to the bit where the spooky ghost queens have scared Hatter's horsie and caused him to fall into a puddle. Then I see Redd's takeover in comic book form and I start to think...

Maybe Looking Glass Wars should have been released like this?

I mean, I actually think some scenes in LGW would've worked better in comic book format, and since it's a very 'visual' novel, with an array of settings like the Chessboard Desert, Wondertropolis and Victorian London, artwork would've benefitted the story greatly, although some of Templesmith's renditons of the characters look scruffy and unfinished. I also don't like General Doppleganger's design; looks too 'French' (when I first read the book, I kept imagining Doppleganger as Tenniel's illustration of the Tweedle brothers).

how artistic are you?
Because if you want it in comic format, why don't you do a portion of it for your own entertainment so that it technically doesn't break any copyright laws. Most copyright laws pertain against you publishing any part of the book for public display or profit, i do believe atleast. And if your artistly inclined then you'll have the ability to transform this awesome book into an even more awesome comic that is purely for your own enjoyment, not anyone elses. If i'm wrong about this please correct me.
