I was trying to find some tour info after the post about a signing, and I can't find anything on this website (sorry if I am just goofing and missing it). I did see that Beddor is supposed to be at Wondercon in SF, CA this weekend. I've never been to a comic book convention before, but I am intrigued enough by Beddor to consider it . . . anyone going?

Hi Kailee!
Just so you know for future reference, Frank is not listed in WonderCon under his name. His booth both times he's been to the Con has been under Automatic Pictures. I would not be surprised if he returns again, however. He seems to do very well when he's there. So perhaps plan for next year?
Aaaaaaaanyway. I think the closest to OC (assuming we mean Orange County, CA here) he should get is San Diego ComicCon, which he said he was attending. SDCC is happening in July...Go here for info on the convention itself:
http://www.comic-con.org
He's not listed currently, but I think it's been a little time since they updated the exhibitor/vendor list, so he should be up there as it gets closer to the con.
FYI, this convention is HUGE...about four football fields worth just in the dealer's room. You will want to plan accordingly, as you should not be surprised that more than just the LGW booth might catch your attention :)

Have you signed with a talent agency yet, PrincessAshley? Same question for anyone else interested in playing a role in the LGW film. What role, and what got you into acting? Why would you be perfect for the part?
Only asking since I can't act to save my life and know little of the process behind the industry. If Beddor ever needs costumers, I'll gladly volunteer!

ok, well for one thing....i absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE acting. i can't really describe the feeling i get everytime i read a new script or i act on stage. It's just so much fun! I'm actually with an agency already but they only specialize in putting people in movies as "extras" not as like a real major role or anything. But its still good. I would honestly love to play Redd because i have always wanted to scream "Off with your head" in front of people. But unfortuneatly...im not old enough to play her. So i would like to play Alyss or Molly. Alyss because her emotions really surprised me...like the way she handles things and just the way she acts towrads herself and others reallly shocked me because, she's a lot like me. I'm reading the book and then i read what she did, and i say to myself, "Hey! That's exactly what i would've done!" And Molly because she just seems like a really cool character to play. I mean its not everyday you get to wear a homburg hat that turns into a shield, right?
i've been acting for a while now. I was in the plays: Aladdin, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Annie, Pirates of the Carribean, Grease, and Harry Potter (a mixed play of movies 1-3). They were all so much fun, and i had a balst acting and meeting new people. My one and only dream is to fulfill my dream by becoming an actress for the big screen. If i was given the major role in any movie, my life would be set right and i have truly been blessed with an opportunity of a lifetime. Sounds a bit cheesy, but....i don't really know how else to put it . lol.
and btw i think you'll make a wonderful costumer Lady_Melisma!

I don't know how much it counts, but I suppose the costume competitions I've done at conventions could, to some extent, count for acting as jumping rope counts for ice skating *chuckle*
It's kind of hard to explain them if you haven't seen them...in many cases, the construction of the outfit is the focus..and you can kind of get away with that. In others, however, you have to bring that costume to life, and do it as best as you can.
It's usually very compressed too...on average, you have about a minute to catch the eye of a crowd of people whose attention span is very small, and the more obscure the character, the bigger the challenge....and all I have to call upon are classes I took in college (one semester of acting. Whee!) and the advice of friends and collegues who have been doing what they are doing for many years, both onstage and in the halls of many conventions.
I think if I had my jones about things...movie? *giggle* I can't say it wouldn't be fun. But I think I'd have more fun dressed up as Redd and sitting in Frank's booth. *shiftyeyes* But that's just me.

My mom said that i cant get an agent and headshots until im a junior but she said that if i really believe in myself then i can do it. I think i would portray Alyss really well because not only do i LOVE acting.... i understand her. I can also relate to her because my father just passed away in November... it was suicide. It was the HARDEST thing I have ever had to deal with in my entire life and I am so grateful because that just made me stronger. Ive done alot of acting in the past i was in the plays Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, Jabberwock, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Acting truely is my passion and I will do nothing else but pursue it. I hope you get to be a costumer lol. Good Luck! and thanks for asking.
