Don't get what?
Perhaps some clarification on what you don't get might help folks answer concerns.

Well I don't get anything. It just opens a page with a bunch of cards that you can click and move. I don't know where I'm supposed to be moving them to or to what end. Basically, I don't get any of it...

So we're referring to the card game then?
See, that's where I got lost. I had NO idea whether it was the game, the book, or what have you ;D

Object of the game: eliminate your opponent's cards.
To do this you need to partially surround them with your own cards.
Each card has an attack and a defense. Total the attack scores of your cards that are touching your opponent's card, if the total is higher than the opposing card's defense, the defending card is eliminated.
Example: the three card soldier has an attack of 1 and a defense of 3. So in a game with only three cards, you need 3 attackers to defeat 1 defender.

Once you get the hang of it, it's fairly easy to understand. I've had a vast background in Magic: The Gathering, and it's kind of a watered down version of that, along with a play mat to go with it. Pretty much, it's how Mac13eth described it. Try to have your army overpower the other by placing your cards in adjoining spots around an enemies card.
