Hello dear friends! I got an e-mail last month from my movie producer sister, Dianna Harris, she has been coresponding with Frank Beddor on the film version of LGW. She sent me the link to this website. So I did some research on the book, as well as did some web searching on the REAL Alice Liddell. Disney got it all wrong! Our dear Alice/Alyss was not a blonde haired girl, but a sweet brunnette girl, with a vivid imagination! I finally got a copy of Frank's book and read it in one sitting. I am a musician/composer by trade, and melodies were forming in my head. A simple melody....a wooden recorder voice in 3/4 time came to me. I played it....repeated. It seem to come so easy. But it needed a bridge to connect back to the original theme. So I put a descending line that flowed smoothly. Being careful not to rush the notes, but modulate evenly. Then I played my keyboard in an english horn voice....What nice chord progressions to boot....Then I took my computer and added the chords to a musical program that uses patterns to let me know what the theme would sound like. It sounded like an olde English theme, fit for a noble Queen of Hearts. I hope to post here online for all to listen! It is in a Celtic Style. Great to dance to...with friends!

I'd just like to note that Alice in the Lewis Carol's books was blond to set her apart from Alice Liddell who inspired them.

I don't think MitchieGuy will be posting any songs any time soon. Even when I first joined here (AH! Me as a brand new member with zero posts!) this thread was rather dead.

I'll be truthful when i first saw the thread name it made me think of "Queen of Hearts by The Birthday Massacre" it's a good song but has nothing to do with this queen of hearts xD
