Fan Fiction???

Oh great...now I am going to have to write a LGW fanfic. LOL Oh, I wouldn't even know where to begin. Might wait till after the third book to do that. I hate starting a fanfiction only to have it dashed to pieces when another book comes out in the series. LOL That's why my main ff is for Labyrinth. :p

I see this as a golden oportunity to get started with something then. We should see if we could compile a book of adventures in wonderland about someone that has no relevence to the actual story or has some relevance but doesn't do anything quite important. It would be inspiring to see what each of us comes up with.

I've had a few LGW fanfic ideas running around in my head for a while now but I've started on one that focuses more on the Alyssians over the years of Redd's reign and how Dodge tries (and fails miserably) to move on from Alyss - what with everyone believing her dead and all XD. I'm gonna try and get it up on fanfiction.net asap but in the meantime, I'm working on a sort of trailer/music video for it wiht the people I think would be great in the movie roles :P

Here's the final vid! It includes some of the characters I created especially for this story (including Marianne Croft, Dodge's "rebound girlfriend" XD). And I know I said somewhere that I could see Ellen Page playing Molly but I couldn't find any clips of her - hence why I chose Hayden Panettiere. And I really think Milo Ventimiglia would make an amazing Dodge u if any of the speech is unclear, here's what it says :) I imagined that the bits where you can hear the audio on the video would take place after Dodge decides to head to the "real" world to bring Alyss back.

Dodge: I have to help him
Marianne: You walk out that door; you don't come back
Raven: Is everything okay?
Dodge: No. Let's go fix it...

Marianne: Remember, what we promised each other?
Dodge: Yeah, I remember
Marianne: Then why can't you just let her go?

You are definitely on the right track here, Queen. I applaud you for a well-thought out and well-edited video clip presenting your ideas on the Alyssian fanfic! Very cool!

Greetings, I am Hatter Pendragon and I was hoping to find some time and recruits to start a fanfic thread where we could share our favorite alternate plotlines and backstories for the LGW series. I guess that my idea is not a new one though. :( Good, though. With such a great story, there should be much inspiration coming from it. I love Queen of Hearts' video montage presenting her ideas for the Alyssian fanfic and am submitting a few ideas here of my own. Feel free to modify and steal as you like: What was Weaver's story? How old is Wonderland's history? What other Hatters were there? What other worlds do the Heart Crystal and the Pool of Tears lead to? Frank Beddor may never be able to answer all these questions raised by his Wonderful retelling of Alyss' story, but we might. Let's make this fanfic post a reality. Let Automatic Pictures know our enthusiasm and our desire to share the Looking Glass Worlds that imagination has given us. There are just too many amazing ideas to pass up here...

I've been researching whether there is any way for the forum to deliver messages straight to the inbox, but so far have not been able to find anything. The best this software seems to have is the ability to subscribe to email notifications of new posts on a particular thread and/or forum. If I find anything else out I will let you know.
