Wow, so many books are turning into movies. My friend says movie writers need to be more creative. ;)

The Dark Hatter

i agree. i mean come on cant they think of new stuff themselves or do they just have to copy all the writer's work.

i actually havent seen any good movies my entire life not inspired by books.

I've seen a few that haven't been inspired by books but they were amazing movies, but that takes you back to the lovely era of movies, right after the silent films, called talkies. If you've ever seen any of the Thin Man series than you'd know what I mean. Lol

Anyway, either I'm blind or I didn' see anyone mention Spiderwick. 'Tis a book that's almost out in theaters right now. It's a lovely book series, so I'm going to see the movie.

I didn't see anybody mention Twilight, which is surprising because almost everyone I know has read the Twilight series, but then again I live in Canada.

anyway I think Twilight is supposed to come out in 2009. They've already casted the two main characters Edward and Bella as Robert Pattinson and Kirsten Stewart. (I personally don't approve of either of these choices.)

14 She played in "In the Land of Women" and also "The Messengers

15 Robert Pattinson was Cedric Diggory in the Harry Pottter movies, and really shouldn't be allowed to play a vampire

Not read Twilight yet, Though I want to... I didn't know that they were making it into a movie. O.o I shall have to tell my friend Bec's that. ^_^

Hmm, Well I have to say that Spiderwick wasn't as good as LGW nor any other books by Holly Black, but I did very much enjoy reading them. But I like reading things that I would have read when I was much younger.

Maximum Ride by James Patterson

Awesome Book series. Amy Rose has been cast as the main character "Max" I dont think the movie will be any good. Those books probably can't be made into movies.

They are awsome. I'm glad you're interested in them. I read them almost as fast as I read LGW. Although if you visited the site I implore to disregard the trailor/comercial/weird flying wolves its a horrible video thing which does not reflect the greatness that is those books
