Changed moments in the book

I Love The looking Glass Wars but i felt it was deprived of a certian emotional feel
So don't get me wrong loved the books really loved the books read em like 50 times just felt like certain parts could have been written different
here's how i feel they could have been written(don't hate me if you like the original way)

Moment 1
When Dodge and Alyss were dancing at the Masquerade Ball
Alice reached up and removed his mask, revealing the face of a handsome young man. A strange feeling had then washed over Alice a feeling completeness as if she knew the man because it was not by his scars that she regonised the man but by his eyes as if she had looked into many times before
She didn't know how long she looked into them trying to tell herself his name but the next thing she knew Mrs Liddell and Prince Leopold were at her side.

I'll have the others up later depending one what people think
so give some feedback bad or good i can take it

Yeah your right. There was some parts I think Frank should have changed, especially between Dodge and Alice.
That moment you speak of was sort of vague, until you changed it. Nice work. Too bad you can't actually edit the LGW book.

Dodge wakes up in middle of night startled after having a night having a
nightmare about that day that changed everything thirteen years ago. He sits up
and takes in his surronding and then he notices Alyss which is a greatful
reminder that all this wasn't a plesant and much loved dream.

As Dodge looks at Alyss sleeping he couldn't help but feel ashamed at who he
had become. He was no longer the dodge Alyss had been best friends and more. he
was also fearful that they would no longer be as close as they used to be. Too
much time had past,too much had happend there was to much betwwen them.

He may have been woken up by demons of the past but looking at alyss he was
filled with hope for the future.

I know i said i would post this like ages ago but here is My Weaver/Hatter story
Okay here goes(wipes sweat from forehead)

Hatter was sitting outside of King Arch's tent waiting for the popus king to come out. When all of a sudden someone steps up beside him he looks up ito the face of his beloveded Weaver and was disaponited to see the sadness in her face "What's wrong" he asked in a loving tone with a hint of worry. "I thought it was pretty obvious whats wrong Hatter" she replied. He just looked at her for a moment just admirairing her pout, her crossed arms and how she looked so cute when she was angery.Finally he said "don't worry evrything's going to be fine" but only half beliving it himself." don't you tell me everythings going to be fine how could you possiably say everything is going to be fine how could you possably know" say replied in a spitful tone "while you were off in the other world i was the one you had to face bringing up molly all by myself i was the one who had to give her up im the one who cris herself to sleep every night because she knows shes never going to get to watch her little girl grow up so please Hatter tell me how you know everything is going to be alright". Hatter just looked at her again and didn't know what to say then he grabed her and held her and said he was sorry he wasn't there to help her throught that.

With this one i decided i couldn't wait for the third book to come out so i wrote my own little story to share with others who can't wait for the next


Alyss was sitting on the balcony of her heart palce bedroom when she heard a knock on the door "come in" she replied because she didn't need her imaginations eye to know who it was Dodge she turned around and saw him enter with a sweet smile she turned and looked back out the window.
"I thought i'd find you here" he said "hiding away from everything"
"yeah i just needed time to think" she said. Then dodge sat down next to her pushed her hair behind her shoulder and kissed her on the nape of the neck and then just looked into her eyes when all of a sudden the knight and rook busted through the door and stoped dead in there tracks "are we interupting something" the knight. "No what did you want" Alyss said blushing slightly.
"we just got reports on how many civillan casualties there are after redds march so to speak" the rook said " its good it could have been much worse most people are just complaing of the lingering effects of WILMA or whatever its called"
"okay i'll go deal with it now" Alyss said as she left the room

She was heading towards the war room were Bibwit and Genrals doppel and Ganger were waiting for her and walking in right behind her were dodge, The knight and the rook they began discussing posable tatics what redd might do next and how to over throw her army after an hour of discussion they were no closer to an answer than they were an hour ago

okay i just have to find the bit of paper with the next bit on it

Molly was sitting in silence in a coner of the cave watching her mother through the flames of the fire hatter made as she was watching weaver molly swore she saw her mother move thinking she was seeing things she just ignored it but than weavers chest rose and fell she was breathing molly was frozen on the spot out of pure disbelif it was possable theres no way she could still be alive hatter went and cheked for a pluse it was weak but there it was a miricale
