I think for the front cover of the dvd special edition it would look good platinum with the words, "L.G.W." splattered at the top and below that in smaller script, "The Looking Glass Wars."

I voted for LGW...as in Looking Glass Wars. It hints toward the typical Alice in Wonderland story that everyone knows but you add WARS to it and it gets you thinking...this isn't your typical Alice in Wonderland story is it!

Yeah, your right. Alyss would be cool, but LGW would be the best. I remember when I first saw the book in the young adult section of Target. I was so excited! As a younger person, Alice in Wonerland and Through The Looking Glass were like my fav books, so when I saw it with WARS added, I just had to buy it. LGW would be a good name.

I love these "alternative reality" series if you will. I loved Wicked and Son of Witch.

LGW has fascinating characters. I'd love to see them come to life on the big screen!

So...is there a movie in the works for sure?

I hav never read Wiked or son of witch but i like those kind of storys too.
and yes, frank is collaborating with a bunch of famous directors, actors, producers, and stuff. There is not much progress yet, though. For more info check out the news section of the LGW website.

yeah, this is off-topic, but my dads computer is stupid too. its giving me such a hard time with the internet conection; don't be surprised if i all of sudden log off in the middle of a posting war or something. i don't know why the computer has this hobbie of randomly zapping my conncetion and then i have to reset the adapter and evrything. and as i said before, my computer blew up.

I thin that if you were to name the upcoming movie lgw then people would not be compelled to see it but alyss as simple and boring that is it makes you wonder what more can there be than alyss but lgw is like renaming the chronicals of narnia tcon yes while the movie was not that good many people went to see it when it came out it probly would not have gotten a huge response if it were named tcon. and so with that i rest my case. :eek:

good point. If you ask me, lgw woulden't be that compelling but like someone sed before The Looking Glass Wars would. But Alyss would also be cool, because it takes a boring name everyone has heard, "alice," and makes it an interesting word and some people will think "Alyss?? Like Alice In Wonderland?" and they google it or something and find out its a thrilling twist on alice and wonderland and will just HAVE to see it. But you know, a lot of people will see the movie just cause they read the books and it was awesome wether its called "LGW" or even "Queen of Hearts."

Yeah I can't wait! It probably will be violent, though, but thats fine with me as long as its not like saw or something which would be a nightmare but i doubt it.

Alyss is not a word it's a name.... and i think the one with L.G.W. and then "The Looking Glass Wars" underneath is a better name for the movie... im very excited for it to come out, but i think i'll be one of the last people in the world to see it, i live in a small town... i just hope it's not too lame...

I think it's a smart choice to go with the title of the book, Looking Glass Wars. I know that the title was what first attracted me to the book, and I think it'll catch the attention of movie goers as well, especially those who catch the Looking Glass reference and are fans of Alice in Wonderland.:)
