Grr...wish I had my books. My mom borrowed them back in flippin OCTOBER. Sigh. I am going to have to ask for them back so I can read about characters to get a feel for them again. I really want to do Doppleganger now, but I need my books to read up on him to see how he acts again. Can't draw him (them) without the attitude in my mind and my memory of them is kinda vague. Don't want to just draw two guys standing next to each other dressed up in some General-esque outfits...that would be boring.

No such thing as a bad artist if they keep trying and keep getting better. If any artist has drive...then they're simply learning, not bad. :-) And your stuff isn't BAD at all! I still really stink at the male form. Give me a girl and I can whip it out like no ones business. There's something odd about the male form that I can't seem to help but get messed up a bit. Ah well...like I said, practice, practice, practice. LOL

Hands suck butt. I can draw them in the end, but when it's just a sketch, I leave them blocky. As for right now, that sketch of her is just that, a sketch. LOL It will get cleaned up laters. *mumbles* Stupid hands...

i think hands are so hard to draw because you have to get proprtion to the rest of the body the size the right hand span you have to get the lentgh of the fingers right and all that is very frustrating

And @ Alyria: I find just the shape of hands to be hard to draw.
One thing that my Drawing instructor in my first year of college taught was when you have a problem area, fill a sheet with different sketches before drawing it onto the whole. And it does help. Especially if you turn your pencil sideways and just keep your hand really loose. -nods-

Yeah, I decided to work off of the design of her they HAD, but tone it down a bit, change her face COMPLETELY, CUT HER HAIR and seriously tone down that jacket. I can't see her being able to fight in that get up really well.

There were a lot of spam posters. People selling things and posting REALLY bad obscenities. But lgw made Her Imperial Viciousness and I Super Mods so we can catch that stuff when it happens. Since I'm on nearly all day, it's easy for me to catch these things before almost anyone sees them now.

I've decided to make a separate thread for the progression of the Molly paintings as they won't be sketches anymore and I don't want to clutter up THIS thread with things that aren't. LOL SO Look for more in a new thread called "Molly Paintings" or something like that.
