Looks like there will be LGW goodness at Wondercon again this year :D

Now, it seems habit that I tend to end up the only forum member (other than perhaps two others, Col. Barlow being one of them) who ends up at these little events. Mayhaps that will change someday :)

If there is good info, pretty pictures, or other neat stuff, I will certainly do my best to report it. And if all goes well, I'll have a special shirt for the occasion.

Her Imperial Viciousness first discovered LGW at a previous WonderCon by way of her fiance'. The moment is documented somewhere within the website. See if you can find it. :D

The part that was surprising to me was when I first discovered this convention and realized it was happening almost in my -backyard-.

By the way...something I am looking out for is whether FB will be giving any more panels...as he did at San Diego Comic Con (the organizers of which also run WonderCon, incidentally).

Here are the ones he did last July from the SDCC thread I started last year. There's no programming schedule up yet, so there is nothing guaranteed, but I'll try to be sure to watch for it in case surprises come up :D

Ugh...I WISH I could go and god knows if I had the money, I would be there in a HEARTBEAT. I missed out on the San Diego Comic Con last year and that peeved me, especially because my DAD ended up with signed copies of LGW and Seeing Redd and won't give them to me. *pfft*:p

But whoever is lucky enough to go...I hope you have fun! Bring us lots of pics!

Ugh...I WISH I could go and god knows if I had the money, I would be there in a HEARTBEAT. I missed out on the San Diego Comic Con last year and that peeved me, especially because my DAD ended up with signed copies of LGW and Seeing Redd and won't give them to me. *pfft*:p

I'll try to do better this time. The ones I took this year of the Friday panel at SDCC were only a few, and not great ones at that because he was a fair distance away. The line for the panel was pretty long, and we got OK seats even though we weren't too far from the front...I think some people camped out from the previous panel...

The goal this year is a few better photos. I'll try to get the booth setup and any swag, and maybe this year I'll not be so dumb as to actually get a picture of us with Mr. B. I keep wanting to and forgetting :P

Crazy thing I just figured out...I have a couple of friends who I see regularly at WonderCon and ComicCon that are also small press or independent folks. I found out that one of them is sharing booth back walls with the LGW booth :D

Needless to say, this makes finding people easy.

Anyway....will remind myself to take many photos, especially if something I have in mind comes together *fingers crossed!*

Well, it's the end of the first day of Con...didn't get there as early as I would have wanted, but that's OK.

Sadly, Mr. B is not in attendance, as he is currently enjoying family life-ness with the new baby girl (and no, I don't think her name is Alyss ;D ). But our good Col. Barlow was there manning the booth, and he was kind enough to receive a little something that I'd brought over. Never mind that it bit him.

I didn't get many photos, but tomorrow I might see what I can do to get them (including that which bit the Colonel!). The booth has progressed significantly since we started visiting back when LGW was first barely touching US shores, and there is much on display, including a new shirt in pink and gold I'd never seen before. Also of latest note, they had prints on hand of the amazing artwork from Card Soldier Wars.

So...yay! :D

Fear not, there is always next year :D And while I cannot speak for anyone, I do certainly hope that they will keep returning to the convention, because we do enjoy visiting.

Which reminds me...I have more photos. I didn't take a huge amount, but I got the booth and the merch displays, so you can all see how they have things there.

Sadly, I was a dork and didn't have my camera with me when Liz Cavalier was at the booth (visiting for the day!), and we missed out on the Ben Templesmith signing (Ben, being a special guest, had a lot of signings today. I'm sure his hand might have cramped up!), but we had our excuses, most of which involved our entry for the costume contest.

Also, I got photos of something else as well. Without telling too much now, let's just say that a certain aunt sent a little bit of her...well, I'm not sure whether I'd call it regards, given the nature of said delivery. I would classify it as both pretty and dangerous.
