View Full Version : Character Descriptions

So I thought there should be a thread for us to describe the physical and mental aspects of the characters based off of actual descriptions as well as inferred items in the books.
I think it would be nice for people hoping to audition for the movie as well as fanfic artists (I am aspiring to do both of these things, lol, I've got some watercolors in progress even).
Now I don't have the book with me but the next time I am home I will get it and reread to find out these things.

I will start with the obvious (please feel free to add and expound upon each character to get the fullest description possible):

Princess/Queen Alyss Heart (older):
Hair color: raven black
Eye color: ?? (for some reason I'm thinking brown/black, but I don't remember if it was ever actually said)
Is beautiful, not in the normal hollywood-type but a little unusual. (If anyone has read the Uglies, Pretties, Perfects trilogy, I think she would be more like the dangerous beauty of the Perfects, at least that is how I envision her, please add your own opinions on this though).

This is not a full description, I haven't read the book recently and can't really remember a lot of the details. Please add other characters and add onto Alyss. This is for everyone to use so be as accurate as possible.

Hee. I gotta at least try my hand at Redd...

Appearance: Gaunt woman in her mid to late 30's, thinly, almost sickly built, but more in looks than anything. Tallish, but not too tall. Probably looks older than what she really is, more because of her mindset and how she has treated herself than anything else (that and Mount Isolation was probably not kind to her). Think of all of her unhappiness worn on her like her dress....never smiling, always scowling or sneering at best, snarling at worst. A smile is a sign of someting gone horribly wrong. Fingers long, slim, a bit bony with long fingernails...something that can tap on a table while thinking, or scratch behind the feline-formed Cat's ears idlly.

Hair: Red. Wavy, somewhat on the curlier side of wavy to be precise. Probably could be prettier if something was done with it, but instead, it just kind of looks like this unkempt mass. Not tangled, but definitely left to hang dry and get frizzy. Redd doesn't strike me as a hair product sort of gal... I remember the description resembling certain cleaning utensils very clearly :)

Eyes: This is a hard one. It's not actually -said-, I don't think. I would guess that they could be different than Genevieve's. Artwork seems to show them as red, and interestingly enough certain shades of brown, in the right light, could lend themselves that way.

Overall: While she could be constituted as "ugly" next to her kin, Redd more than makes up for it in her presence. She doesn't slouch, but walks very proudly, even if she is forced to be discrete. She has grace, queenly at that, but it is a far different form of grace... it could be called haughty and self-important, but haughty and self important tends to seem fake, while Redd has a sense of definite 'realness' to her. She is the Queen of Hearts, and most importantly, She Knows It, and so will you...a single look at you will pull it from your bones.

I like your description.

In my mind, she's also *really* pale. Her skin is almost paper thin too. If that makes any sense.

Sometimes I can see her eyes as like a grey color. Like a cat's kinda. (you know that "fake blue" that some hymilaian(omfg I BUTCHERED that spelling) cats get?)

Ohyes. Almost ashen, in a sense. The artwork of the cover REALLY does a good job with that, I think. And not necessarily smooth, either. It will have imperfections. Maybe she compulsively picked at her acne as a teenager, or something of that nature.

I think I know what you mean, and it's not entirely impossible. It would definitely be another angle to take in that regard.

ArrisColwell

It's really an impossible color. Maybe that's why I see her with it. But then, when she's angry, REALLY angry, I see the red.

I just can't see characters with red eyes very much cause I always end up thinking of Gambit (X-Men) LOL

Oh well. *sigh*

Now, as for Alyss.

I love the pic of her in her Birthday Dress that's they did. For her as a child, they nailed it for me. She was just always so on the go and rough, I couldn't imagine her any other way. In my mind her hair was forever a mess and she was a skinny little thing. Hehehe

As for the ADULT Alyss...................I don't see her as pretty. Not like "aww" pretty, or "damn she's hot" pretty. She just...........is. To the people that love her, and to the Ayssians, she is STUNNING. But not so much because of her looks. If that makes any sense. In my mind, she's always had a sort of "blah" brown hair color. Her eyes have always been a deep, deep, deep brown. Pretty though. Her mouth and nose and eyes are all perfectly proportioned(sp) and small, but they fit her face.

Okay there was way more to that, but I'm at work and people are distracting me. I can't think. Grrr, don't they know I'm trying to have a life here? LOL

Hmm, should I attempt a character? Weaver perhaps, seeing as she's one of my favorites, or maybe the Cat.. But I think it will be Weaver..

I've always seen Weaver as a tall handsomely beautiful woman. You know, not beautiful like she's a doll and not as handsome as a man, but handsomely beautiful. With Grey/Green eyes and light brown hair that is pulled back slightly at the neck in a half ponytail that ends at the middle of her shoulder blades. Slim build, but with a little bit of padding since she's had a kid. And kind of a Hawk-ish nose. Cat shaped eyes. (and trust me I could go on, but I think I shall stop there.. -.-)

So there is my bits.. and meow.. I shall have to type more later I guess.. lol

are_you_seeing_redd
03-29-2008, 07:30 PM
Well then, I shall attempt Dodge...please don't throw rotten veggies at me if you're not happy.

Physique/Stature--Maybe just shy of 6'. He, like Redd, doesn't slouch, as if he's too proud to slouch. Muscular, but not like super muscular. The scars, as told by Beddor, make his face well-known around Wonderland.

Hair--Brown...not long, but it isn't a butch cut either. Hmm, I'll try and find a picture... http://imdb.com/media/rm3110180352/nm0836343 kinda like this...maybe?? Maybe a bit more curlier, but kinda like that.

Eyes--a dark brown. The eyes of innocence.

I really don't know...I never imagine the people when I read books. It's just impossible for me...I love Redd's appearance though ^_^

Molly_Madigan

ahm.. okay, here comes another in the lovely mind of me that shall be described.. ^_^

Jack of Diamonds: He's short, arrogant, and a brat.. so why not do this disgusting excuse of what is supposed to be a man.

As I've said I saw him short. 3 feet and 5 inches about... He alway's has the "I'm better than you" grimace. I also got the thing that not only does he have a colossal Butt but he's also chunky.. but that could just be me trying to make proportions. And with the hair, even though he hides it under a powdered wig all the time, he's got blonde and curly hair.. dunno if that's just me, but I always attribute prissy with blonde.. but I think that's due to my sister, and Jack is very prissy. He has blue eyes in my mind that are slightly close set and dart-y. His lips are thin and un-attractive. And he has an attraction to power and shiny things.

And that's about all I have for him.

I shall do another one soon. (Of whomever isn't done by the time I get back on.) Oh, and sorry with mis-spellings if I had them, because I'm sure I have them.

South Park. It's a pretty adult cartoon, to say the least. A hunt through YouTube might give you some samples, but my initial finds weren't quite showing him in the light I know he sits in :)

One of his famous quotes is "RESPECT MAH AUTHORITAH!"

ok, I'll take a shot at describing some of them!

Alyss (when shes in the real world as an adult): jet black hair (like in the book) and BRIGHT blue or green eyes. I ppicture her as petite but strongness on the inside that shines through on the outside. Shes got an elegant and grace about her that no n ebut a princess could have. I picture her eyes as looking a little saddish sometimes especially when shes absorbed in thought. She doesnt care about the normal things girls of that age went ga ga over (like the prince) but is very caring toward the less fortunate. Sweet and sort of motherly but with an adventurous side just waiting to come out, angry on the inside but controlled so it doesnt appear that way on the outside.

Alyss (as a child in wonderland) : sort of scrawny and skinny. Hair always sort of frazzled from being on the run all the time (away from Bibwit in particular) =D. Always bright and shining! very easily excited!

Dodge (as an adult before alyss returned) : Brown hair and green eyes. Hair sort of shaggy in the front short but not short short like medium. scars on his cheek of course! thin face but not annorexic looking! tall and really muscular but NOT body builderish! Agile and very reserved... seems like he's always in a different place like he's in deep thought all the time! sorta reckless but not really cuz he can get through anything using his super macho skills! lol
adventurous and very angry at the cat! (you know since the cat ruined his life!!!!! =[ ) he's sort of unstoppable, once he's got his mind set on something he's gonna do it!

Redd: angry angry angry!! red hair, brown eyes but with a tint of red you can see in the light. hair always sort of frazzled and sorta tangled looking. sorta like fire! skinny and kinda bony. Sneer always on her face, powerful looking. like you dont want to mess with her cuz you'll know she'll kill you on the spot if your not useful! Flesh eating roses always on or around her such as jewelry or on her dress! tall and elegant but in a ferocious kinda way.

ok i think im done!! lol maybe I'll do more later!

ill try to do my best description of dodge
he is tall, but not TOO tall. straight thin black hair, to the length of his eyes, his hair a tad bit messy. but more so neat. his face shaped like robert patterson a bit (the guy in the picture)
http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u144/ClaudiasTwilightStuff/RealEdwardAndBella.jpg
with green eyes, then wen they get closer to the pupil, they turn a yellow-ish color
or with dark gray eyes ;)...

Naw, whenever I picture Redd shes beautiful, shes really stunning so that people would at first mistake her only for the hard glint in her eyes and that mane of firey hair. But then I can also see that beauty being destroyed as her features twist and screw up in her anger and evilness. Thats just how i see her though :) painfully beautiful, beautifully evil.

bellabong95
05-20-2008, 10:11 AM
yeah i agree! i was just describing her when she was mad! when she's still i picture her beautiful. i picture her as looking a lot like her younger sister but then.... she gets angry!

I imagine a young alyss as a very skinny girl, with brown mousy lank hair. she has a very big smile and bright eyes, mostly on the look out for an adventure, sort of like a tom-boy wearing dresses, like little danielle from Ever After.

The older alyss would have a striking beauty, like liv tyler. she has grace and poise, with a strong personality, someone who sticks firmly to her beliefes and never truly disbelieves. She stands tall, because she is a princess, and is very gentle with all things, but is willing to fight for all the right reasons. Her eyes a bland brown, but they sparkle with delight in the world, in everything. her hair is a soft black/brown color, shiny and soft, with small curls/waves.

Genevieve, is a bit like the older alyss. She is stern and sweet at the same time with her scolding alyss. She is one of those people who is always saying "i me!" and shaking her head while chuckling. She is serious and by the book, which ultimatley leads to her defeat. she has blue green eyes with long black hair.

Redd, is a woman who has cruel beauty. When still she is gorgeous, pure and simple. She stands tall with a proud haughtyness of knowing she IS the rightful queen of wonderland. She is like a child her anger, simply lashing out to try and bring pain in any way possible, not caring how cruel or uncruel it is. She has orange eyes, but like a brown orange with swirling long red hair.

Young dodge is the kind of boy who stands tall pretending to be guard soldier and then swiftly swoops to kiss and quickly returning to his guard soldier stance. He is quick and sort of quiet in a way, but yet his personality makes a big impression.

Older dodge is a quiet man, who just stews in his own anger and revenge. personally i think he has quiet pity parties for himself. his hair is light brown, and is mainly scruffled with green eyes that kind of hold a sadness that is heavily clouded with anger.

well this is all i have so far. See if i can write more. ttyl

What about Hatter? No one's mentioned him! Actually, I don't think that I have a clear enough picture of him in my head to describe him, though I definitely think that he would look somewhat worn out, and probably have some small scars and stuff.

But anyway, I'm going to try my hand at Molly, because I think I can see her a bit better.

Molly has really short (almost boy cut, but not quite) hair, with bangs, but the bangs aren't too long, because they can't get in her eyes when she's fighting. She is normal thirteen-year-old height (around five feet), but muscular and athletic looking. Her eyes can be piercing when she's angry, but also look sad and innocent, because she is, after all, just a kid. She dresses in pretty masculine clothes (including her long coat), because she wants to downplay the fact that she's a girl (the two main strikes against her are a) that she's young, and b) that she's a girl--can't do much about the age bit, but if she makes herself less feminine, people might take her more seriously, at least to her logic.) She isn't strikingly beautiful, but certainly good looking (remember one of King Arch's wives observing in SEEING REDD "you could be pretty if you tried"). Oh, and her Homburg is black, but slightly dirty, scuffed, and worn because of all she went through under Redd's regime.

So that's my vision of Miss Molly Madigan. I hope no one completely disagrees. Some of it is based on descriptions in the books, and some I came up with all by my onesy. Personally I think Molly would look pretty awesome based on my description, but others may hold different opinions.

Oh, I have been challenged, even if it wasn't meant. ^_^ so in this little installment I shall do Hatter M.! >.< -insert maniacal Laughter-

So, I shall try to type this as well as I can. I must apologize and everything like that because I really am not that good at physical descriptions and I may use a few abstract courses of thought. But here goes my best attempt.

For those of you who've read the comics I agree with pretty much all of Templesmith's drawings. I saw H.M. as the tall dark and handsome type of guy. But I thought he'd, well how can I type this accurately.. Well how about I just start with a physical description.

About 6 feet tall give or take a few inches. Because in my head he's taller than me.. so he's got to be at least above 5'8. He has neatly trimmed Dark Brown hair and he shaves every morning, but he gets a five 'o clock shadow about halfway through the day. His eyes are an impossible brown color that twists in the light if you look closely at it as if the color itself is alive and breathing. He has weathered and lightly tanned olive toned skin that has scratches and scars all over it.. mainly his back and arms, that he would know the story for each. He's athletically built and muscular, but not overly so.. so he's proportionate.. And his long trench hides this fact.

He's a silent and hides his feelings well, but that doesn't keep things from showing in his eyes.. because you know the saying, "Your eyes are the doors to your soul." If you look in those impossible brown pools you can see his weakness.. and his strength. And if you've ever heard the song "Love Like Winter" (AFI) that's how I see him.

So there, if you don't like it then I don't know what to tell you other than Re-write it yourself. That's how I see him, and there is a description from My PoV.

Alyssian_Soldier13

Personally I think Molly would look pretty awesome based on my description, but others may hold different opinions. i totally agree about molly. That was exactly how i pictured her, as for Hatter M. well he's a different story.....

Hatter M- He is a tall man with striking good looks, but is battle worn. His face is sharp, his cheek bones high. He has brown eyes that show his strength, and his weakness as mentioned before. His shoulders are broad, his voice is deep yet soothing, When you hear it you know you are safe. He just exludes [worst spelling ever] stength, but undoubtly looks battle worn. His hair is quite neat, but when Alyss is first learning how to use her powers in LGW, she describes his as looking like a normal Wonderlander, which is how i see him without his hat on, in the sense that his hair is quite scruffled. His ears to me seems big, not bibwit big but a bit bigger than normal. Obviously he wears a backpack and his over coat with his bracletts and belt. But also i always imagined him with combat-like boots.

Sorry if i completly murdered it for you guys. :D

Ah, the only thing that I have to say about the normal wonderlander bits is that.. I think the thing that make normal wonderlanders wonderful is that they are extreamly and exemplary totally wonderful and diffrent. So they have shining eyes and beautuful skin. Kind of like when you were a kid and thought that the way people look on the outside is how they are on the inside. Good people are amazingly beautiful(But also like fairies.. with that terrible beauty that so many are described with..) and bad people are monsters.. for example.

But that's just my random insight to it. ^_^

Am surprised no one's done the kings yet!

For King Arch, I picture him as the most outlandishly regal being in Borderland. As well as mixing tribal and nomadic fashions, he's bare-footed, various black-ink tattoos, similar in style to Maori. Including some going from his arm to his face. He wears a lot of gold about him, various chains, rings what-have-you. As well as one of those fur cape-things you see stereotypical royalty wearing during ceremones. Only he wears it nearly all the time. His hair is in long black dreads, but the style is practical more than display. The sun beats down hard on most of Borderland and so the people have long hair to protect their necks.

She isn't strikingly beautiful, but certainly good looking (remember one of King Arch's wives observing in SEEING REDD "you could be pretty if you tried").

Forgot to add this to my last post.

I don't see Molly as being ashamed that she is a girl and therefore trying to downplay it. I think she's more like "I am what I am, so deal with it." And because she's a female halfer, she's going to make sure that she's the best dang female halfer there ever was or will be.

I always pictured her as having light brown/dark blonde hair that was cut to about an inch or so beneath her earlobes. I can't decide whether her eyes would be like a brown or a blue-ish/greeinsh but whatever they are they are definitely the same as Weaver's, 'cause Hatter made that observation at the end of Seeing Redd.

BTW, I was wondeing this... if there were some way for Halfers to somehow remove or cover up that vein below their ear that shows they're a halfer... do you think Molly would do that? I know that's a really random question but I just thought of it one day and I couldn't decide if she'd do that or not.

Ok I'm going to give a character description for Redd. It's probably been done, and there will be quite a few people, i'm sure, that won't agree with mine, but this is how I've always invisioned her.

A rich auburn colored hair, which flows everywhere, very pale skin, green eyes, red fingernails, that are long and claw-like, but not exceedlingly so. Her dress of roses, of course, but her shape should be visable, and it should be appealing. Other than her ill temper, and her weird psyconess, I have always picture Redd as quite the attractive woman.

Who's listened to the audiobook? The way they make Hatter's voice sound is really wrong. I never pictured him sounding like that. It's all rough and gravely. I've kinda always pictured him as more of a clean shaven Obi-Wan.

I think any ideas of Redd being ugly are dispelled by the cover of "Seeing Redd". I mean, if you look at her, she's not exactly the type of person you'd want to look like, but she's still very beautiful in her own mean, nasty way. LOL I know that sounds VERY unusual, :o but then again, Redd is not your usual Princess.

Yeah, clean shaven, go back to Episode 1, Obi-wan is clean shaven as a Padawan, so Episode 1 Obi-wan only older.

The cover of Seeing Redd only solidified the idea that Redd is fairly attractive in terms of physical build, personality wise, and particular features... uh.. no.

I think most everyone has hit Redd on the head pretty well. Redd, if things had gone the way they were supposed to, would have been a very beautiful and very awe-inspiring Queen. The stress of anger and jealousy of losing her birthright, however, has turned her into a dark and distorted version of herself. I can easily imagine her having bouted between fits of rage and sorrow...so much so that everything that boiled within her twisted out.

It's pretty darn scary....

I agree with you completely. So.. what one who is casting this film does, is take an attractive actress, do a bit of make-up work on her and BOOM you have a would be beautiful woman, who has been deformed by her own anger.

Now I move my attention from Redd to Dodge. Dodge, to me, has always seemed very much Anakinesque (i love creating my own words) in his appearence and certainly in his attitudes. I'm thinking more an Anakin circa Episode 3, rather than the whiney, annoying teenager of Episode 2. The bitterness, and the slow, but steady sink to the dark side that is ever so appearent in Episode 3 would fit perfectly into Dodge's character. He has always struck me as a very strong, very talented young man who has suffered, and is angry and vengeful (as is cited in the book). So I'm thinking someone tall, strong, but not particularly overly muscular, disheveled hair, the four scars, and a very stern, solid face, almost as unshowing of emotion as Hatter.

Blah, no, sorry.... I don't picture Dodge as anything like Anakin. Well, okay, maybe a little in his appearance and in the way that he's slightly mysterious. But Anakin was always a pain for me to watch on the screen... he's a whiny, immature man who easily falls to the dark side because he's got way too much pride. Now, I know that Dodge has his own "dark side", but it's because his father, the man he idolized, was murdered right before his eyes and his best friend was thought to have been killed, too. Anakin turns evil because he's mad that he didn't get the honor and power he "deserved".

All I'm saying is, I get some of your points, but I really, really hope that they don't portray Dodge like Anakin.

BTW, apologies to all you Anakin fans. I don't mean anything personal; I'm just stating my personal opinion. :o

It's cool. We're all entitled to our opinions. :) That's why this is a character description board. I'm sure there are millions of different visions of Dodge among the LGW readers. I was just stating mine. I can see how you would think Anakin is winey and immature, but I would offer this up as well, remember in Episode 2, Anakin held his mother as she died after being tortured by sand people, so that's simmilar in a way.
But back to LGW. I've always pictured Dodge as that sort of quiet, loner. I don't think he ever smiles, or at least hardly ever even once Alyss comes back. He's a very skilled warrior, we know this because it states it on several occastions. His only joy (again until Alyss arrives) comes from battle. It seems to be the only place he's happy.

True, Dodge is quite "battle-happy" shall we say. LOL. But I just always pictured Dodge as more mature than Anakin. He's been through more; having to do portal runs is way heck more important and dangerous than pod racing. :D LOL.

But thanks for bringing up the bit about Anakin and his mom. I had forgotten about that. I can sort of see the Dodge-Anakin reflection there... a parent dies and the kid swears revenge on the killers and will loose control of himself whenever the murderer is around. So that is kind of like Dodge.

I agree that Dodge is probably more mature than Anakin is. I can definately see the validity in that point, but I still see him that sort of way. I agree about the portal runs too, although Pod-racing does have it's dangers, I mean look at the Boonta Eve race, Anakin was the ONLY person to finish.

Yeah... but Anakin was also a whiny little t*rd! Dodge, to me, always seemed content with working with the Alyssians to get to the Cat. Anakin became a Jedi, and spent most of the time complaining about the job and not being allowed to be a master despite his 'Chosen One' status... You can tell I don't like the prequels, can't you?

General_Arnold
09-26-2008, 09:44 PM
True, but Dodge was constantly telling Alyss, that he didn't know what he'd do, or that all he wanted was his revenge. It seemed to me, at least in part that Dodge was whining a bit about the Alyssians holding him back, or Alyss holding him back.

The prequels were ok. Not great, but ok, I LOVE 3. I have to admit that, I loved 3. 2 sucked, 1 was aweful (except Darth Maul).

Anyway, Dodge has many Anakinesque qualities to him, perhaps not as previlent as Anakin, and perhaps not as immature as Anakin, but he definately has them.

Hmmmm... I'm not so sure.

I can picture a younger Arch looking like Harvey Dent; quite possibly. But remember that by the time the Looking Glass Wars is around he is getting on in life. Probably around Redd's age, you know. I imagine that because Redd has the powers of Dark Imagination it would somehow keep her slightly younger looking, while "Archy-Warchy" is beginning to show his age after years of spoiling and luxury. I never imagined that any of his wives were with him because of him, more because of his money and power.

That having been said, I picture Arch as slightly older, with longish dark hair. I think he's someone who would have been very good looking when he was younger, but now he's become only averagely good looking. Maybe not even that. LOL! :D

I agree with you here to a point. Most definitely he's on the older side, he's most assuredly Redd's age, but I guess I always pictured her differently. As far as I picked up from Beddor's loose descriptions at times, is that the magic twisted her looks to something on the edge of beauty. You can see the beauty that USED to be there, but it's marred into something a bit more frightening by the Black Imagination that she's absorbed into her life.

Of course, she's got the beauty, but the angles of her face, the, perhaps, thinness of it, keep her from being BEAUTIFUL. Like I said, leaving her at the EDGE of beauty, but forever scarred by the darkness that has contorted that beauty.

NOW...Arch. He is definitely NOT gorgeous anymore, that I didn't mean in any way shape or form. LOL He's definitely showing his age, the desert wearing lines into the once handsome face, the long dark hair that teases around his eyes showing the salt and pepper signs of age around the temples. But, he still (to me) has that ability to turn the charm on. That's what I meant with the hair. Disheveled and in his eyes when he's angry or upset, and smoothed back and suave when he's chatting with, say, Alyss, trying to schmooze her.

A few of my descriptions, sorry if they've been done. No, I'm not doing Alyss, because I think we all have a pretty good visual of her.

Redd - As you drink in the overtly dangerous air around her, littered with the ever present snaps and shrieks of her flesh eating roses, you notice that she's far taller than you would have expected. She seems to tower before you, you know she isn't as tall as she appears, but her manner of walking, the way she holds herself...she seems to dwarf you with her presence.

Her long, twisting hair frays out around her in a fiery halo, making her look like a living flame, a beacon of Black Imagination. Her eyes peer down at you, two callous beads of darkness that can penetrate the most impervious of souls. A slender aristocratic nose raised against everyone she speaks to…after all, everyone else is a mere maggot before her.

Thin, harsh lips, nearly always arched in a vicious snarl or baring surprisingly white teeth in a snarl, twist in a mocking sneer that would loosen the resolve of many a brave man. When they deign to contort into a semblance of a smile, the effect is unsettling, almost frightening in its cold lie.

Her overly lean build leaves her skin with a near sickly pallor with high cheek bones that cut ruthless, inhuman angles into an otherwise lovely face. You can see, beneath the ever lined forehead and the tightly scrunched brow, the beauty she would have been had the Black Imagination not taken hold of our most beloved villainess.

Arch - He's taller than Redd, not by much and not very noticeably, since she dominates any attention when they're around each other. He has a sickening ego that's etched itself into his very manner. He speaks down his nose, which was once broken and forever holds the slightly crooked reminder of the event, at everyone he speaks to.

He is definitely showing his age, the desert wearing lines into the once handsome face, the long dark hair that teases around his eyes showing the salt and pepper signs of age around the temples. But, he still has that ability to turn the charm on.

Two of the indicators those around him use to judge his temperament are his posture and his hair. When he's angry, irritated and looking for a good argument, his hair is disheveled and wild, his posture somewhat slumped and aggravated. When he's calm, getting ready to schmooze the other tribes against each other, or perhaps falsely aligning himself with the Queen of Wonderland, he is all class. His hair smoothed back to perfection, not a hair out of place and his back stiff as a freshly starched shirt.

He's definitely one to keep your eye on at all times.

Okay...that's all for now. I'll do more later. Give me ideas of who you'd want me to make a long description like this for.

Sorry I didn't post up the character descriptions I promised. I will do it tomorrow. I had to get writing on the next chapter of my story. I have people threatening my life if I don't get it out soon. :p

Ha ha, I know what you mean! I write books too and some people have been "threatening my life" because they want some of my books out faster. It's like, dudes, I'm working on it! It's not that easy!

EXACTLY! I've written a couple now and it's a pain sometimes. Some of my readers are only that...readers. They don't realize that writers block hits sometimes, some chapters take longer than others...I dunno...LIFE happens at times!
