Gather ‘round! Ready for a wild idea? We want to start a project and it won’t work out if we don’t have you guys! This is our simple pitch for a hopefully successful and fun project that we have dubbed LGW Mission Imagination.

Here’s our proposal:

Since we have a bunch of talented and artistic people here on the forums, we thought it only fitting that we make an art project together. Artists and writers or anyone that has imagination are welcome and encouraged to join. The project will require our collaboration of a specific LGW theme into a final print-out to send out to Frank.

You’ve probably heard or been in one of these fan projects before, but we are really hoping ours will be more creative and different than any fan project ever done. But before we get into more detail, we need your approval. If we have enough people to accept this proposal, we’ll get this ball rollin’!

So just reply if you approve and are willing to sign up for the project or if you decline. =)

Hey everyone! I'm glad you are all intrigued. The reason why we didn't get into depth here is because Frank apparently reads the forums once in a while and we don't want to give too much of his surprise away, now do we? (No peeking, Frank!)

For those of you that are interested and want the low-down on LGWMI, send an e-mail to LGW.Mission.Imagination@gmail.com saying that you're interested and make sure to put your username here on the forums so we know who you are. ;)

Hopefully, we'll get more people to join in.

Oh no. You see, I am the one who created the concept of the stick dodge. Imagine Dodge being a stick man. That's how he'd be if I drew him.

Now, if I "painted" him using words... that might turn out a tad bit better. :) Not to sound, like, stuck up or anything, of course. That's not what I mean. :o

Well, no.

I had about a 4.87 second panic attack because the character picked happens to be a character I can't draw that well.

But then I realized that yes, I actually HAVE drawn that character (and made it look fairly nice), so I was happy. ^_^ Just need to practice and it'll be perfect. =]

Much to my stupidity and life hurdles, I wrote a quick letter explaining our project while we drove to the post office to send the project. We left the post office realizing we had forgotten to give our contact info.

I apologize, my fellow imaginationists. For a coordinator, I am not as coordinated as I hoped even with my co-coordinator and/or other half beside me all of the time. We can't help but share the same brain. :rolleyes:

But good news is I e-mailed the oh so awesome LGW headquarters and received a reply about a week ago from Miss Emily McGuiness (Frank Beddor's assistant) with confirmed arrival of our first issue. She said that Mr. Beddor was blown away, but couldn't get back to me earlier because of my aforementioned mistake. (sorry again, everyone. my fault.)

I don't know if I will get any follow ups from him aside from what I received from Miss Emily because I assume he is quite busy with his new books out and all.

But with ArchEnemy and Mad With Wonder out, I hope our imaginations have been inspired to continue with our mission and into our second issue.

Those of you that weren't involved in the first issue and would like to join, by all means, PLEASE DO! If you would like to continue/join/support this next issue, reply here. I just need a show of hands for now.

(I'll do my best this time around now that most of the problems that arose the first time have been memorized.)

I don't know if I will get any follow ups from him aside from what I received from Miss Emily because I assume he is quite busy with his new books out and all.

But with ArchEnemy and Mad With Wonder out, I hope our imaginations have been inspired to continue with our mission and into our second issue.

Those of you that weren't involved in the first issue and would like to join, by all means, PLEASE DO! If you would like to continue/join/support this next issue, reply here. I just need a show of hands for now.

I've actually started a fansite that I'm doing very poorly with. so maybe we can use that site that I made as a sort of canvas, I can give the users here that agree to do the project permissions to edit pages and stuff like that. I've also been hammering away at a ExitReality version of the website (3D website) Not much going on with it. It's a lot of work for one person.

Anyways. For anyone who decides to be a part of it, please please please follow through with the project. It effects the fun factor dramatically, I think. Anything's good at this point... the site is quite bland x.x Actually the main reason I created that site was ExitReality. I wanted to make a 3D version.

thanks to all of you who showed interest in our second issue so far. bare with us here...I'm still letting this thread sit for personal reasons and waiting to see if there's a few more interested peoples who wants to join.

This project is not starting yet officially. just wanted to confirm that. I was just seeing who was interested so I will know if we will be able to start on the next issue. we will PM you things you need to know to start on the project once it has officially started.

And for the people that really really don't know what's going on. I apologize AGAIN.

LGW Mission Imagination is a collection of imaginative works created by awesome peoples like us here on the forums and this is all put into a book. Each issue is themed to one character from the LGW series. We send this collection off to Mr. Frank Beddor when it is finished so he can love it. that's the general picture.

hopefully, more people will be interested after that was cleared up. ;)

Yes when they have official statements they post it in that color.

What I really like is how everytime someone asks a question about LGWMI I answer. I guess I'm JemmenJay's secretary now. XD

although that is the official color we use for our LGWMI updates here on the forums, it's not the official color of LGWMI. we just wanted a color that was readable and that you would be able to distinguish which posts were important if you ever go through the thread. :)

Hmmmm... this sounds interesting, and I'd LOVE to do it... but I'm sooooo stinkin busy. I still have to draw a ton of pictures for my friends' birthdays (from 2 years ago!!!) and I have other art projects I have to do in art class. I have been thinking about ideas for LGW, so MAYBE I'll do something, but I can't promise anything.

Well it said in the email update that it was supposed to be kept from the forums. So yeah. :)

You can email them at their LGWMI address; I know they're busy this week but they'll get back with you. Or you could ask me or one of the other members who participated in LGWMI last time.

Just come on to post what the Twins probably already know, I can't contribute to this one.

Due to factors such as lack of a working scanner, sporadic interweb access and a general lack of inspiration. I don't think I'll be able to throw a picture into this set. Sorry about that. Will try harder to contribute to the next one though!
