Character based clothes...

Ah, as a few people know (I don't know how many at this point.. seeing as I've been away for far too long..) I make dresses and various other outfits.

I've been designing a few dresses based on characters from the LGW Series and was just wondering if there was any interest in seeing the finished products. I'm just about done with one actually. Anyway.. I was curious.. and if you wanna see them just type it here! ^_^

Oh dang it, you got me to the point where I can't describe it because words fail. Unless I sit here for about 30 minutes thinking about how I should type my freaking out at its awesomeness (ahh, the bell will ring by then!), then I guess this is all I can say.

Thank you.. The reason I said it was scrap was that it's all parts from fabric bolts that I used for other dresses.. The yellow-y shiny fabric was the bottom part of another dresses' hem... So that's why it's scrap. Lol

I love it! Actually, I was considering posting a thread with kind of a seamstress challenge for all members who sew. Your dress kind of reminded me of the idea- I have an idea for a my-size replica of Hatter's coat, but for now all I have is a small scale pattern sketch, measurements, no cloth, and a sore arm from the wonderful tetanus booster. I was thinking if a bunch of people got together we could each pick a character and come up with an outfit for them, them post pics of the clothes here. Whaddaya think?

I can't say that I ever sew anything together, but I can get creative with what I like to wear... well, as in, black knee-high boots, a long black jacket and a black top hat. That's a character-based clothing outfit if I ever saw one! XD It's great fun to wear and, naturally, no one else wears it as regularly as I do.
