Inspirational Lack

Is it just me or is anyone else out there feeling the Heart Crystal's absence? Kidding. But seriously, guys, I need ideas. I'm wanting to do a drawing of Hatter and/or Molly or just anyone else who kind of inspires me. The issue is... I can't see it. I hear Hatter's voice and I see his outline in my head when I read the books, but when I go to draw his face it's like it's a blur. Does anybody mind offering up some descriptions of characters? I've only drawn Hatter once, and it looks very unlike the conventional descriptions of him do. (I tried scanning the image into my computer like five times and it didn't work, otherwise it would be here.) Thanks guys!

I think drawing faces for any character is just plain hard. I think it might help to start with the schematic first then see what you can do from there.

Use imagination! =D lol. Okay, yeah, I'm that kind of a retard. I imagine Hatter as a... serious-ish looking person. So, anime/manga wise, serious characters tend to have more narrow eyes. But, I'm sure that we all picture him different since we are all different people. Now that I think about it... I never really imagined Hatter when I first read the series. When I read it over the second time I kind of got a sketchy look in my head. =] So, thats what I'm basing this off of. lol.

The body is, in my opinion, a bit easier than the face just because everyone should know what a body looks like verses a face is ever changing and never the same. I think the face requires a great deal of visualization and just practice.

I know, right? It's not the practice that's the issue, I draw people all the time, it's Hatter that's giving me the issue. I had his face in my head, and then I didn't. I'm about to start a pic of Molly, so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks! The second one isn't actually done considering it's lacking a face and a left arm, but I've atarted an album on my page for when I finish stuff like this.
