wow, full body tattoes...i would love those but if i got them, my dad would flip and my mom will literally die right onthe spot. hmmm....a couple of my older friends have tattoes, and i was thinking of getting a large pair of wings on my back.

ps- the CUT and the chessman and most of the drawings were created by doug chiang. hes a good artisrt, but i dooo think they look too mechanical and futuristic. chris applehan has some good drawings too, specially of redd.

im working on some artwork and i'll let u know when im done, i just have to find a spot to post them up! help!

Anne Rice tries to respond to her fans, if she has any left after that latest book of hers. =/ Nevertheless, she does respond if you email her.

Janet Fitch will respond. And if you need to send messages to Peter S. Beagle he also will respond, or his manager will respond.

I also wouldn't call Frank Beddor an author. But don't get me started on that rant!

An author is a name that gives presence and thought to a book. If you pick up stephen king, you expect certain things.
A name gives it a genre, a style, automatic status, and sets the level of intellectual that will read it.

A writer has no real name, that is, the writer is something you pick up, read the writing, and then forget about. They have no select genre or style or level of intellect required. They are forgetable.

Thus, there are many great authors and many more writers. You can't seriously count one poorly-written book as making Beddor an author. If he wrote another book, most people would say "Who?" or "When did he ever write another book?"

He has no presence in the literary world. His book is widely unknown and furthermore, if it were to be widely known, I doubt it would be taken seriously as literature.
